Apply for exhibition space
North Norwegian Art Centre invites professional visual artists and craft artists residing in Norway to apply for exhibition space at our venue in Svolvær for the period 2026–2027.
Our exhibition program consists of both invited projects and projects selected through open calls. We especially encourage artists working with themes related to the circumpolar North and Sápmi to apply.
To ensure the best possible working conditions for artists, solo exhibitions will be given priority, although other formats will also be considered. The selection is made by a jury consisting of one representative from NNBK – Northern Norwegian Visual Artists, one from NKNN – Norwegian Association for Craft Artists Northern Norway, and the curator at North Norwegian Art Centre.
